Progress Report. . . Christmas Swap Postcard #1

So , I think it is just about done.  Will add a short sentiment on a tag perhaps and then maybe adorn with a stick pin too. I think the bell ornaments need a little bling. Almost down to four.  Slow and steady  with attention to detail works for me. Perhaps that is why it takes such a long time to create each and every one, but I think the results are  worth it.     :)

November Christmas Postcard Swap

Holdiday season so delightful.  I have another Holiday Swap and this time it is for postcards for a partner who has requested 5 all different. The dimensions are 4.25 x 6.  The mailing deadline is November 30.  Yikes!!! I better get hopping- I mean -crafting. So, here is where I am right now.  I have cut out 6 on my Explore machine.  Going through a glitter cardstock phase I guess, because here I go, using it again. I am staring at the 5 BLANK cards, coming up with-well BLANK. . . will keep you updated on these.

Smoochieboochies Creations

What are boochies???  Artsy-craftsy creations made by me, smoochie, 4 u, that I love.  Actually some are 4 me too,as I can't bring myself to part with them, and some are already spoken for -  so not everything posted here will be available , but , the ones that are will make it to my new Etsy store ( named smoochieboochies of course ) which is currently under construction.  Those can be 4u if you so desire and I hope you will enjoy them as much as I did handcrafting them.  I plan  to share my boochies here, some from start to finish, some already completed, and some started and abandoned because I got stuck, maybe to return to them at a later time.  I hope you will have fun sharing the  process with me, it is definitely a journey, and not always with a clear destination -  but somehow boochies due emerge.  Wishing you will find inspiration and the joy of handmade here , on my Smoochieboochies Creations Blog.

 

November Christmas Card Swap. 

I used my Explore to cut out the ornaments, cards and base squares.  Embellished with sheer ribbons, bling and gold bead strands.  I decided to go all out with my glitter cardstock.  My Explore wrote my moniker on the label.  ATG gun adhesive was reinforced with dabs of hot glue here and there.
